Historical inspiration

Even at the beginning of his creative career, Ruslan turned to classics and traditional forms. His inspiration was family archives, vintage fashion shoots and heroines of cult films. Therefore, Ruslan still boldly experiments with traditional forms and creates headdresses in the spirit of the times - comfortable, utilitarian and ultra-fashionable. It is interesting that he also involved his parents, who became the head of the production, in this matter. And in an interview with The New York Times, he admitted that it is extremely important for him that production should remain in Ukraine, because this way local residents can be employed. It is especially important to demonstrate the style and culture of Ukraine to the world.

Founding of brand

Baginsky founded his own brand in 2015 together with his friend Petr Yasinsky. In order to draw attention to their own products, they decided to directly contact famous influencers, models and just stars of show business, sending them samples of headgear. The tactic worked perfectly, and celebrities with the initials "RB" appeared more and more frequently in paparazzi photos.

In an interview with Vogue, Petro Yasynskyi admitted that this approach immediately made a great impression on the celebrity. "Communication is our strong point. We do not work with PR agencies, we communicate with everyone personally, we remember everyone's names and tastes. This attracts and makes our connection with influencers, who have literally become ambassadors of Ruslan Baginskiy, stronger."


Subsequently, the brand began shooting lookbooks and sharing press releases with the most famous Ukrainian fashion publications. More and more people started talking about Ruslan Baginsky.
